Get to know me

Hello! Welcome to White Oak Acupuncture. I am delighted to be offering in-home acupuncture to Clackamas County and surrounding communities. Acupuncture has proven its effectiveness in the clinic setting. Yet, those who are homebound have few options for care. This is so unfortunate because acupuncture is perfectly suited for supporting individuals healing at home.

Over the course of a life, most people will go through a homebound period. A time when a major life event shifts your health and reorganizes your priorities. It could be an accident, a diagnosis, a surgery or a joyful shift like a birth of a baby .Regardless, this period calls for a different set of life skills and a whole new rhythm. It's always hard, yet undoubtedly much harder without support.

I see White Oak Acupuncture as another leg of support for you,, beyond your primary care team and family . When life is unfolding into a new normal, unfamiliar and uncomfortable I can help you anchor into the parts that are still strong while lessening discomfort. Our sessions will focus on your unique goals.

I began practicing in Oregon in 2012, gaining experience in different treatment settings with expertise in complex pain and chronic conditions. I have hundreds of hours of additional study in areas like oncology support, stroke recovery, pediatrics as well as modalities that enhance treaments like electrical stimulation, moxabustion and massage.

My work is based in Classical Channel Theory, which relies on a genuine understanding of energetics and a careful reading of channels, pulse and tongue. The effectiveness of our treatments will be grounded in the time we spend together so I work with care and precision to give you the most comprehensive 90min session. In-home work allows me to give 100% of my energy to that individual. I truly enjoy this type of connection to my clients and wish this service was available when I could have used the support.
